Retreat edict
Phones:
Although we understand you will bring your mobile to the retreat, we encourage you to refrain from using your phone. There will be no phones in the common areas. If you do need to use your phone in your room, please do so during the day. In the case of an emergency you can of course use your phone, but you must be mindful that others in adjoining rooms may be enjoying quiet time, and ensure no loud conversations. If you would like to use your phone to play music in your room, please ensure you do so only when wearing headphones. Note that the retreat venue may not have WiFi access.

Presence:
To preserve the integrity of the retreat experience for all attendees we ask that you do not leave and return to the property once the retreat begins. The retreat is structured as a five day, six night format to provide the most enriching experience for all involved, and we strongly suggest you commit to the entire retreat. However, if a work or family emergency means you need to arrive late or leave early, please notify us immediately.

Clothing:
Bring comfortable clothing to suit a range of conditions. You may need some warm clothing for the night time and early morning. All clothing should provide an appropriate level of coverage, particularly during yoga practice where poses may require bending over or open straddle positions.

Respect:
We want everyone to have a wonderful time at our retreats! In order to provide a safe environment in which all participants feel comfortable, disrespectful, rude, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. Guests are expected to treat others with respect and follow directions from retreat staff. A warning will be issued by retreat staff, and if inappropriate behaviour continues, you will be asked to leave.

Illness:
If you are unwell and feel obliged to withdraw from a retreat within the seven days prior to commencement of the retreat to minimise discomfort for other attendees, you will be offered another ticket at a rescheduled time that is mutually suitable. A doctors certificate or other proof of illness will be required.

Unforeseen circumstances:
In case the event is unable to proceed or needs to be cancelled because of an unforeseen event, you will be offered another ticket at a rescheduled time that is mutually suitable.
Cancellations:
Cancellation requests must be received via email. If you cancel at least one week before the retreat begins, you will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations received fewer than seven days prior to the start of the retreat date.
